Tree symbolises 25-year bond and a new name for IPC

The 25-year bond between Palmerston North city and IPC was commemorated on 26 September with the symbolic planting of a sakura (cherry tree). On the same date IPC officially became the Institute of the Pacific United (IPU) New Zealand.

IPC Achieves Category 1 with highest possible rating

IPC is delighted to announce that the New Zealand Qualifications Authority (NZQA) undertook an External Evaluation Review of our institution in June 2015, the first since 2011, and has given the college the highest possible rating: that of Highly Confident in educational performance, and Highly Confident in capability in self-assessment.

On the brisk blue-skied morning of September 26, a group of 12 eager rugby fans headed out from International Pacific College (IPC) into the rising sun. Amongst them were the six members of the renowned IPC Drum Team. Two and a half hours later the group arrived in Napier, the city chosen to host the Rugby World Cup match between Japan and Canada
