Fashionistas from India winged their way Down Under recently to take part in an International Winter Fashion School programme organised by the Whitecliffe Continuing Education and Fashion Design departments. Fashion design students and faculty from New Delhi’s Pearl Academy participated in the three-week course which included practical workshops in fabric dyeing, embroidery, flax weaving, paper making, and an up-cycling project making bags from sampling squares.

This month International Travel College (ITC) farewells its largest group ever to take part in Disney’s Cultural Exchange Program. Fourteen talented ITC graduates have been accepted into this year’s exchange, and will soon be jet setting their way to Disney World to live and work at the amazing Disney Resort.

Recent Whitecliffe Fine Arts graduate Kohl Tyler-Dunshea has won the Estuary Art and Ecology Prize 2017 – the only art prize in New Zealand “with ecology at its core”.
