Palmerston North's first Tertiary Knock Out competition was held recently in The Square with UCOL, Massey, Te Wananga o Aotearoa and IPU New Zealand all participating. About 50 people attended the event, which resulted in a tie for first between Massey and IPU New Zealand.

Obsessive manga fans dress up as the characters, decorate their cars and get tattoos inspired by the Japanese comic books, and the cult has a new foothold in Palmerston North at IPU New Zealand. The institute’s library has just received its largest shipment of manga, boosting its collection to approximately 1400 titles, thought to be New Zealand's largest public collection.
