Academic Colleges Group (ACG) recently acquired the
New Zealand Career College (NZCC).
The New Zealand Career College has been a private tertiary education provider since 2002 and has been led by Mr. Feroz Ali. Mr Ali will take up a senior role within ACG as Divisional Chief Executive of the ACG Tertiary & Careers division.

NZCC and the
Institute of Supply & Materials Management (ISMM) recently signed a memorandum of understanding to formally recognise the quality of graduates from ISMM supply chain courses. NZCC will now recognize ISMM Diploma & Certificate Courses in Purchasing & Supply Chain Management, along with work experience in a related field for entry into the NZCC diploma course. Those who have successfully completed the ISMM Graduate Diploma would obtain exemption from Level 5 & 6 (two years) and be eligible to directly enter the NZCC Diploma in Procurement & Supply (Level 7).

NZCC is for the first time offering a one-year level 7 Diploma in Applied Management (from its Auckland Campus). This is a duel qualification with Chifley Business School in Melbourne. In one year graduates gain the NZCC Diploma and a Graduate Diploma in Management from Chifley, which is operating as a training partner with NZCC. The course is aimed at those who already have experience or qualifications and are looking to create a step change in their career.
